Dear Readers,
Allison, Luke, Katie, and Caleb began Four Homeschoolers with the purpose to encourage, build up, and inspire other homeschooling students. They posted mainly about school and worldview related topics, and occasionally a fun event. Working together and blogging about their lives as homeschoolers was a good idea. But it gradually became more of a challenge to keep updated. After about a year, Luke left and Kristen joined. Ever since the 4HS have been continuing, or attempting to continue, writing more on their current homeschooling experiences. As time went on, the 4HS struggled to keep their blog updated, and eventually became a burden to all of them.
After much thought and discussion, we decided at this point in our lives, it is best for us to end 4HS. We have enjoyed the time we worked together on this blog, but for various reasons we decided to invest in other things. We will continue our personal blogs, so we are not completely leaving the blogging world. Ultimately, we desire to use our time wisely by investing in things that bring God glory. Our desire was for this blog to be a productive place of encouragement and inspiration for homeschoolers. We hope that in some small way it fulfilled that purpose while it was active. We believe that this blog could still serve that purpose, if we had the necessary time to devote to writing on it. As of now, we lack the time and ideas and feel like it would be best to close.
We appreciate all who have taken the time to read our blog!
Signed,
The 4HS staff
Caleb, Allison, Katie and Kristen
